Line-up
Turn Back, the band's third studio album it was an ode to the classic sextet structure and it was a more consistent, more powerful album with a sharper edge. The more edgy sound of the album reflected the maturation of the group and featured drummer Bobby Kimball's increased ability on the drums and a more mature, confident vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams. David Paich's work was more refined, sharper and less cloned previously recorded efforts.
After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live show in Amsterdam which was released as a two-CD set entitled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records.
