Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to mark the centennial of the company. Made from Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it comes with a flying 'B' paperweight, a set of keys as well as a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre imagery.

Function

Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man hours to design and put together the typical Mulsanne. A key to that time-consuming effort is a reluctance to embrace the latest technology. The Crewe factory workers don't utilize a machine for arranging perfectly-matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead they do it by hand. Instead of letting the car's built-in sensors guide it into parallel and perpendicular parking spots drivers must do it manually.
